What does LECHAPERON (UN)LIMITED means?
LE CHAPERON is a french word that has different meanings, but in our case it has to be interpreted as ‘a companion’. A companion is someone who guides you, who is always around and watches over you. We like the idea of being a companion to makers by presenting their product via our platform and bring their product, their philosophy and personality a bit closer to people. We also see LECHAPERON as a companion to the end customer by selecting and presenting a eclectic combination of products, makers and stories via our platform in way that people can be inspired by what they see or read.
The tagline ‘(un)limited’ refers to the ‘limited’ edition series of products that LECHAPERON stands for and the ‘unlimited’ part of the tagline highlights the unlimited possibilities of the products, and content in general, you may find on our platform.
I signed in for the newsletters. Now what?
That’s great! If you expect to receive a newsletter each day or week, we will have to disappoint you. We only send newsletters when there is something to talk about … When a new product is coming, when new stories are published, when new locations are spotted, when a new offline experience is created, etc., you’ll be the first to know it!
What about shipping costs?
Shipping costs depend on the desired delivery address. The exact cost will be shown during the check-out procedure, before any payment has been done of course. We charge you with the cost our third-party carrier charges us. All costs are calculated based on shipments from Belgium.
My payment is declined. What should I do?
First thing first, please try again. If things go wrong again, please select another payment method. If the problem still persists we recommend you to contact your local bank as payments can only be declined by your bank. I hope you understand that your order will only be processed once your payment has been confirmed.
Can I pay with…?
The most common payment methods are available : Visa, MasterCard, classic debit card.
We chose HiPay as our payment partner. HiPay is on online banking payment platform designed to help e-tailers and online publishers. Via HiPay we offer around 70, international and local, payment methods. HiPay manages around 12.000.000 transactions each month. And of course HiPay uses the latest security standards to make sure your payment is done in a highly secured way.
Do I get discounts?
No, we don’t do discounts at LECHAPERON on the products. Every product you find on LECHAPERON is carefully selected and transcends seasons and trends. We don’t have any products that result from a mass production process, and therefore has a fixed price. We make sure that you’ll get value for money.

If you live on planet Earth, you’ll receive your package.
We do not exclude a country based on shipment. But it makes sense, that based on your desired delivery address, shipment costs differ. Shipment costs are calculated based on shipment from Belgium.

We select unique objects, coming from different makers and transcending different disciplines. Categories in which LECHAPERON will be actively presented are accessories (bags, jewels, scarfs, wallets, …), interior design, paintings, prints and illustration, ceramics, deco, … So if you are looking for that perfect gift or a little something extra for yourself, there is a pretty good chance you’ll find it here. Don’t worry. You get a second (third, …) chance. You simply need to request a new one. To do so, select ‘Forgot your password?’ on the page where you want to log in. Take a look at your inbox. We have sent you a new password.
How do I place an order?
Very very easy. You select your favorite product, click on the ‘Add to cart’ button (or cart icon). Each product you select will be added automatically to your cart on the top of the page (at the right). Done? Click on the cart on top of the page if you want to pay. Click ‘proceed to checkout’ and select your preferred payment method. After your payment has been accepted, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

Can I place an order as a company?
Yes, of course you can. If you want to receive an invoice for your order, please don’t forget to fill in your company details and the VAT number on the check-out page. We’ll send you the invoice together with the package arrival.
